In facing global conditions and the predicted delays in achieving sustainable development, Indonesia currently prioritizes digital innovation for the development of digital technology in various aspects, including the fields of economy and governance. The potential and development of digital technology in the Asia-Pacific region are highly significant, yet the landscape remains fragmented, spanning from policy regulations to digital divides, gender gaps, and technological transformations.
It is imperative for the Asia-Pacific region to share the same priorities by involving the five elements of the Pentahelix (Government, Private Sector/Business, Academia, Community, and Media) collaboratively. This approach is expected to generate synergy towards achieving more effective and sustainable development goals, particularly in driving digital economy targets and advancing inclusive connectivity in the Asia-Pacific region.
